Is everyone else still having the issue with super riders with 77+ ratings coming into the game both scouted and if you just sign some random U23 guys who do well in races.
Anyway, I know they said it was supposed to be fixed with 1.0.1.8, but it is certainly not for me. This really makes playing beyond a year next to impossible.
It is also a crack up that I get these uber-riders sometimes when the scout is "worth watching".....yeah, he might be a little better than that.
Hopefully they figure out this problem for the next patch. |

Yeah, this is after erasing all prior saves and starting a brand new game. I have installed the original game, then patch 1.0.1.6 and then 1.0.1.8 (the newest one, which was supposed to fix this problem).
I can't imagine it's just me....others?
On the plus side, the game isn't crashing at all, so that's good. |

The problem concerns only the first season.
But, after a couple of seasons, I've noticed a problem even more important. Young riders cannot make progress in acceleration. Current potential = limit potential. |

How did you delete them with the editor?

I was identifying and deleting them as well, but mine didn't go away after one year, it multiplied.
The problem seems to be less prevalent with guys I'm scouting, but there are loads and loads of young super riders available to any team to sign. So many (over 100 in year 2) that it's not worth it to delete them all.
If you go to search and set the filter to no contract, you will see these guys...or at least if your game is similar to mine you will. |

I noticed this too in my career. My advice would be to use an editor and note down the youngster's max acceleration from the DYN_young_cyclist table. Then when he has signed a pro contract, he'll show up in the DYN_cyclist table. His max acceleration will have been nerfed there, down to his current number. So change the number there to what it should be.
No cheating involved if you've already signed the ride and then watch his stats
He will still be in both the DYN_young_cyclist as the DYN_cyclist tables, as lons as he hasn't joined your team yet. |

They actually never said they'd definitely fix this. They didn't know for sure what was causing this, but fixed something, they believed to be the cause. Obviously it wasn't. |
