Loved PCM08 and now have 09, BUT whats the point in effort cursor, it does nothing in 09. in 08 I could get team to front of peleton then ask to attack then up effort and get away. NOT in 09 the peleton just ups the pace from 34Kmh to 55Kmh untill they catch me. my riders stay at 34Kmh whatever effort I put into it.
Is there a way round this? to get effort working or am I missing something from 08 to 09???
Don't think there is, maybe the peleton don't want to let your rider get away, it happens to me sometimes, its all about tactics picking the right time aswell.

I know that uses the effort more (The DOT command) BUT was hoping to have the 4 riders with similar sprint accel sets to help each other break and then staw away. Could do this is 08 BUT having great trouble in 09!! have got 2 not so good riders to sprint, then the 4 good 1's to follow then take over. BUT when 60sec away riders do 38-40Kmh regardless of effort in relay mode and peleton shoot to 55-58kmh, no chance to get away. tried at start, 50Km from end 20Km from end towards top of hill, similar to 08 but it just doesn't work to up the effort bar in relay as it was in 08.
off topic, does any1 know if there will be playable demo for 2010 game in shops last friday???
I've no idea. If you're attacking with some important riders, that'll make the peloton work. The same goes if your team is the strongest, and often if you have the leader's jersey.
It's unlikely that a demo will be released for PCM10
