As per last year there'll be one thread for every stage, and with less than 24 hours to go it is time for the Stage 1 topic.

Cycling Weekly have posted the starting times for a number of riders, and with rain forecast, it makes for interesting reading. 17.39 Geraint Thomas (Team Sky)
18.29 Lars Boom (Rabobank)
18.37 Mark Cavendish (HTC-Columbia)
18.43 David Millar (Garmin-Transitions)
18.47 Frank Schleck (Saxo Bank)
19.07 Steve Cummings (Team Sky)
19.09 Andy Schleck (Saxo Bank)
19.20 Cadel Evans (BMC Racing)
19.21 Michael Rogers (HTC-Columbia)
19.23 Thor Hushovd (Cervélo)

Clearly Contador is going to go on a solo attack there.

gah, someone change the thread title to edit out Stage 1.

This is not stage 1.
Anyway, looking forward to this, the Erasmus Bridge is a pivotal point in this years race.

I think Cancellara is doing it Wink
butI hope that someone else than el pistolero is winning the prologue and the whole race

valverde321
Yeah Cancellara is very good but I think he's a little out of form. Well have to wait and see.

roturn
1.Cancellara
2.Wiggins
3. Martin

My favourites. Can`t imagine that a guy like Cancellara will be out of form for Le Tour.
Martin will probably beat him on the long tt but this is always quite late so we have to see who is still quite strong then except of Contador Grin

golance123
I'm going with Cancellara. I don't think I could bet against him.

arthon
1. Cancellara
2. Boom
3. Martin

Should be easy as pie for Cancellara.

Roman
Cancellara
Contador
...
...
and then rest

This course suits Yukiya Arashiro down to the ground. No doubts in my mind that he will win, and by quite a lot of time too Wink

Cancellare should take the win, but there are a lot of riders for the following places, such as Martin, Wiggins, Contador.
Hushovd could finish top ten, too.

Arashiro? I wouldn´t even think about him if i made a list with riders finish in the top 20Smile

Grobar
is andy schleck available for the white jersey this year?

CrueTrue
Yes.

Cancellara should win if the mighty Erasmusbrug isn't too hard for him, so:

1- Cancellara
2- Wiggins
3- Kreuziger
