Team Time Trials

Can anyone help?

All other aspects of the skills are good other than these

I've just play as OmegaPharmaLotto and finished 39seconds (joint last) in a team time trial

note: not normally OPL - just picked them based on the teams that were randomly selected (PCM09, stage, TTT, Tour of Oman, random teams)

Put them all on 99%, the best rider about 16-20sek, All the others, -1tt Point -2Sek Pace.
So the worst should be about 0-4 sek. Later in the race you click avoid pace with them.
Normally your first 5-6 guys should arrive together, otherwise change the best guys to 80%, all others still 99%.

I know that the tour of oman TTT is a short one, should i keep it the same for a longer TTT?

edit: just tried that for the TT in the same tour and finished joint first with saxobank (i was sky) - way better than i had previous

Tour of oman is a ITT isn't it? Tour of Qatar is TTT...

The Qatar TTT has always been difficult to get good results in.

Try putting everyone on 99%, but use your best TT'ers first until they've spent all their punch (yellow bar) then use the next best and so forth.

Problem is you'll lose some seconds getting your best riders to the front.

it's just a standalone stage, so rider fitness doesn't matter

i tried this method in a longer TTT (the Giro one)

yes i won the stage (by about 3 minutes, passing Milram on the road - i was saxobank), but the riders all cracked with about 5km left

edit: 19 seconds off Garmin with a rank outsider in the same Giro stage - thank you
