Can anyone effectively ride down the side of a mountain?
I lost 3 minutes in just over 5km yesterday to Cunego and a Credit Agric rider riding on stage 16 of the Giro, riding at dot 99 and attacking when the slope went over -6%.
Btw, I went over the summit with a 3 and a half minute advantage over the closest chasers
Not happy. I thought I was finally going to win with a long break on a mountain stage.
In Giro Cunego is unstoppable. Im also palying a season with Saunier Duval. Cunego is 18 min in front of nr. 2! He is Just Goodlike in The GIRo! Thats it
The relay doesn't seem to work for me, with whichever rider I use - I always lose time going downhill.
And Yeah, you're right Cunego is a monster in the Giro in the original DB.
With the Spain DB, they seem to have limited him in some way, not sure how though.. He's winning the Giro I'm currently riding by around 4 minutes from Simoni and Basso. I'm in 14th with Rodriguez of Caisse.

Yah, I found the same with Spain DB. Cunego wasn't the God he is on the original and, in fact, I don't think he won the race (might have been Savodelli although I don't remember). Still, it makes me feel good when Cunego goes down because it pisses me off that he wins all time in the Giro. Also, Boonen doesn't seem as unstoppable in the Northern Classics on Spain DB. I wonder why? Its nicer though because it gives you more of a chance.
