For those who play at maximum detail level - how does the game perform for you? How many FPS over the peloton in the cities and what is minimum FPS?
With ATI 5770 I think the game is unplayable on max in 1680x1050 even though the graphic card is MUCH faster than the recommendations and new games can run fluently. Drops down to 10-15 fps and fps in general from 25-30. FPS over breakaways are usual around 40-45. I must say I'm a bit disappointed with the scaling in the game.

My laptop:
Alienware x17 or something, dun' remember exact
W7
Intel core 2 extreme CPU x9100 @3.06Ghz 3.07Gz
4Gig ram
and ATI mobility Radeon HD 3870 X2 graph card
I can run game on highest graphics smooth, but after an hour, when my laptop gets hot the game crashes once in 5 races... |

Core 2Duo 2,93 GHz
W7 Ultimate
4 GB 1066Mhz ram
ATI 4870, 1 GB
highest settings with 4xAA and 8xAF, disabled bloom and the other shitty crap which is off when enabling AA, with it looks way better. FPS +- 80, in cities drop to 35 min, game runs smooth as never before, 2009 pcm was also fine, smoother than 2008, but this yr its almost perfect !
btw i have shadows off, waiting for patch, because if you zoom to riders in 3d, shadows on them looks creapy, but the difference with shadows on is -5 FPS max.
ups forgot some info about resolution 1280x1024 and drivers are 10.5

I have also disabled motion blur, depth of field, and run without image filter. ATI 5770 should be a little bit slower than 4870, but not that much. Well, will see how it works with the patch and I'm going to try with different drivers. |

The highest available resolution to me is 1280x1024.. why is that? I'm pretty sure the last pcm had 1920x1080. |

Same problems for me as for andybandy..
Same card also. I get angry when I read that people with a far inferior card and pc can run the game easily...

You can edit it manually by opening GraphicConfiguration.xml in My Docs/PCM10/Config with Notepad. |

There must be something wrong between the game and your card, maybe they fix it in the patch. |

And another guy with an inferior card where the game runs perfectly
I get the feeling Cyanide simply fucked up for the Radeon 5700 series |

With 5770 I have about 30fps in the end of the field, 40 in the front and 50 in breakaways. In towns -5fps.
Everything max but antialiasing and motion blur off.
It looks smooth at least |

I have the same card (5770) and I have not noticed fps problems.
My guess is that some people in this thread think that they play on the highest settings but in fact they might not run on highest AA or other settings.
I suggest that all compare the game using the same settings, so if someone could post the highest settings (game looks best) then we all could compare. |

Without fraps I wouldn`t realized any problem. I just tested it because of the others with the 5770. I am quite happy with my graphic settings and how it works ingame even if it`s just 30-50fps. |

I think the game looks best without image filter, depth of field and motion blur, but I believe that is pretty individual. Also, we have to test on the same stage and resolution as well. Don't know what monitors most people have nowadays? |

Intel Core Duo 2
2.1 Ghz Processor.
2 gig Ram.
GForce 8400M on my laptop.
Struggles on relatively low graphics.
But that's cos it's below minimum in at least one thing I believe.
Sky have the money but the other Brits kept the passion.

Run smoothly on top settings here;
Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.53Ghz
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GT
No problems so far, graphics are beautiful and it seems pretty stable and solid. |

I've tried everything and I can't figure out why the game doesn't want to run well.
