I've tested a bunch of races and I've realised that to prevent a pack of 160 riders sprinting for the win in AGR, RvV or Fleche Wallone I had to simply spread out the stats more.
I've tested and the same thing occured this time aswell, but in the final hill the time differences occured and the best hilly riders did end up winning the AGR.
At the same time I also updated the standard stats for a bunch of riders cyanide probably didn't have enough information about.
I had a very realistic run of Paris-Roubaix where Cancellara had a gap but was caught on the line by Boonen. The first group consisted of three riders. Cancellara, Boonen and Flecha. Pozzato and Hushovd were riding alone but somehow got the same time too.
There was a gap here too but Chainel also got the same time for some reason and finished 10th.
RvV Test Run:
5 riders attacked and finished in front of the pack that sprinted for 6th place. Even though they got the same time there were small gaps between all the riders.
Boonen
Flecha
Cancellara
Gilbert
Pozzato
Bunch:
Bennati
Steegmans
Maaskant
Devolder
Chavanel
Other Updates:
- 2 new riders (random, I was gonna add more but I couldn't be bothered)
- Changed some races from "hilly" to "flat" because the stages would easily end up in bunch sprints in real life. So if it's simulated, the results would be more realistic.
- Vedel Kvist no longer German.
- Michael Berry -> Michael Barry, Jonathon Clarke -> Jonathan Clarke
(other realnames are from The Max's realname DB)
- I also added 36 as age of decline to some of the better riders, but I didn't see the point in doing it so it's only there for like 50 riders.
Hopefully this will be enjoyable untill a proper DB is released.
I actually figured out a couple of things that I could've done a little better. It's nothing important if you already got the other one.
What this one have that the previous one didn't have:
- 1 more fixed name
- another 8 riders (Kashechkin, Pellizotti & Dekker as free agents. Juraj Sagan at Liquigas and Vladimir Gusev at Katusha, and three more)
- Changed some "hilly" stages to "mountain" to get more realistic results for these particular stages, as these are sure to create gaps something they wouldn't necesarilly do if they were hilly stages.
- Le Tour de Langkawi -> Tour de Langkawi
