Good Lord in heaven! how I wished we had a game like this back in the glory days of Indurain and Lemond! Im a new member having just downloaded, PCM 2009, is there anyway for us old-timers to change up the rider names in 2009 to names like Chiappucci, Jalabert, Virenque, Pantani, Bugno Indurain, Rominger, Riis, Zulle, and so forth and so on? I understand its probobly not possible without cheating something, (Im not in the business of cheating here,) say in the voice overs, but if anyone else has thought of this could someone get back to me, Thanks
Yay. I'm a Canuck too. You a flames fan. Anyway on the left you'll notice a latest downloads thingy. In there there is Recommended Downloads and inside there, there is Pack 1991. It works with PCm 09 and personally is the best db ever released.
Holy Crow, you from Calgary???!!! I live up by Westbrook Mall!!
its a small world, even on the Internet, Thanks so much!!! Ill try it out. Im only a flames fan when they make the playoffs though.
Winnipeg. Sorry. I'm a Canucks and BlackHawks fan. If you have trouble installing ( I know I did with my first db) feel free to ask. Good Luck with the db and have lots of fun. And make sure to pay the forum a visit every once in a while.
Hi valverde321 from Winnipeg, hope your still on, or anyone else, how do I Install those database packs onto my PC? tried moving the file into my main Cyanide/PCM2009/Database editor, where exactly does the downloaded file go? thanks much,
You need an extraction tool, such as WinRAR. When installed, open the 1991DB.rar file with the program that you just downloaded.
Inside it, you will notice that there's a folder called Pack 1991. Open it. Drag and drop all the folders to your main PCM-folder (often Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager).
Lastly, open Database & Local.rar. Drag and drop the Local.cdb to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager and Database - Pack 1991.cdb to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager/Database.
Open your game, then the Options, choose the Database tab and select the 1991.cdb.
