No, there's not an official release date. |

It surely would be nice with the patch as soon as possiable.. For me, the career-mode is unplayable at the moment! We need the patch to fix all the major bugs, so we can play the game, thanks

On the other hand, you surely also want to allow them some time to fix as many bugs as possible |

Last year the final patch was released the 9. july. Thats the record so far in the cym/pcm series. From year to year Cyanide have been faster and faster to release the final patch, so hopefully we will see the final patch before or around the 9. july. I think thats what gonna happen.

Most of the bugs they should have recognized much before the release date So they probably worked on a patch before the release
It`s just strange that there are so many bugs in things that were correct last year, like training camps and scouting... |

I just stumbled upon a forum post by Cyanide which states that the 1st patch has been sent to 'validation'. It also says that it will be a small patch which only fixes bugs - it does not come with the extra stages that have been made. These will be included with the 2nd patch.

I probly won't start a career this early anyways.
Let's just enjoy playing single races for now. It'll be there soon enough |

What's the problem waiting for patch nr. 2 for new stages?

How is it possible that the game could be released this buggy?
I mean, where's the quality assurance on a product that cost $40usd? The career mode is completely unplayable without some horrendous bugs popping up that have been mentioned already. I understand that the development team might want to get the game out there so that the community can begin it's mod processing, but they could've just released a demo and let people fiddle with it until the game was ready for commercial release. Weren't they working on this for two whole years?
I'm sorry for the rant but I just find it ridiculous that I just purchased a game at full price that was advertised as the best pcm to date, only to find out that I can't even sit down to enjoy it fully without waiting for a patch first(that will probably only fix half the bugs).
I would be much happier waiting longer for a game if it means that it will be completely finished on release. We're basically asked to pay money for a beta and become test subjects.
Shame on you Cyanide!!
If a patch isn't released within the next few days then i'll be asking for my money back and it'll be the last pcm that i'll buy after having purchased every previous version.
Label me a long time faithful customer that has just about had it with supporting a company that doesn't respect those that keep it in business. Once again I apologize for the harsh words but this is not how business should be done.

understandable damius, i think there are amny who feel the same way you do
i have purchased the game as my computer meets the specs but have not been able to play it yet and cyanide have not figured out why..yet.
i think the problem is that it is the only cycling game we have on the pc so we put up with much more than we shoud from cyanide..if they made a football mangement game they would have no chance. |
