Is there any way to watch 3d races without controlling the team?

You can watch the race without doing anything, but you cannot give orders to your team prior to the race.
I guess it would be possible to switch to a bad team which participates in the same race and let the AI control your original team. After the race you could switch back. But I cannot garantee that there are no side effects. Switching teams using an editor has been explaned in this forum already. |

Hopefully, they will make something like watching the race without participating in it..
It will be very useful, especially for people who have crappy computer like me, I can't play in race mode at all.. Only simulate race for me all the time.... sigh  |

If your computer is to weak to play a 3D stage including your participating, then obviously it also is to weak to play a 3D stage without your participation.
Unless of course you are some sort of cyborg and the game runs on your own CPU. |
