Definately a bit harder then last years edition, some good field at the starting row this year, first time since years it actually can challenge the Dauphiné starting list. Good to see the Albula in there, its my absolut favourite pass in the alps, no other pass i have ridden that often, it doesnt offer much curves but still its great to ride there.
Although its quite easy for the pros as it doesnt really have much gradient.
In germany its Sport1 covering. They usually only show an hour at most. And if the stage ends to early they dont show it live. The commentary is quite weak there

That is worth a bet, for sure
No really, I think there should be a bet for Gesink crashing downhill. |

For the second year in a row it has a worse route than the Dauphiné. Bah. Damn organizers trying to make Cancellara win it.
Leipheimer is my overall pick, if he can avoid losing time in the lumpier tricky hilly stages.
All the good sprinters chose Suisse this year (as usual) and as usual we have an exciting GC battle. Awesome. Too bad the route sucks. And too bad eurosport decided not to show it this year for the first time.
I'll be avoiding knowing the results so I can download from cyclingtorrents at the end of the day

I'm guessing that wasn't supposed to be a question.
Not here, they aren't.

It was a statement, with a question imbedded. I believe British Eurosport/Eurosport 2 channel is showing it, certainly the highlights. I don't think the rest of the world gets the same content on their Eurosport 2 Channels though as us.

British Eurosport has been great with additional cycling races this year.
Just pants at scheduling and showing the decisive stages of races live.

Too much ITT and only 1 real mountain stage. So a TT-er will probably win.
I do expect Gesink to be up the front in the mountains, but hopefully he is not super, because then he would be in form too early |
