I recently moved the My Doccuments folder in my computer. Now i cant find my save games, databases nothing.
Now when i look for its target it says something like
./userhome/mydocs/solo
where is the drive named . ?????
can someone tell me how to redirect where my game is saved so that it is in my new My Documents folder located in E
I looked in the search function but couldnt find it.
If you moved the 'my documents' folder, shouldn't you know where you moved it to?
Where have you seen the target? In the game? If yes, does the game work still?
If the game still works, just start a new season using a unique name like SearchMySaves then simulate some days and then search for 'SearchMySaves.cdb' (or whatever you named your season) on your computer.
Yea i Know where the My Documents folder is but my saves aren't in it they are now saved inside the program files pcm directory.
I saw the target in the game under where you name the game. The problem is all my files corrupt anyway
Thats not my issue the game works but i want the save games to be stored on my new E drive instead of on C drive. All i want is to move where my game saves to.
If you move the 'My Documents' folder correctly, the game will save it there.
Did you move the folder manually to your new E drive? In this case other programs will have problems too (or just continue to save on C).
Use google to find instructions how to move the folder. Also, there are programs to set the new folder path (in the registry). Each OS does behave different, in some OS a right click on the folder would have been enought (there is a wizard to move system folders).
