How to view .TGA-files?

How do you see the .TGA-files?
I have no program to open them, but I do not know if that's the way to do it either...
I tried to put them into my game, but it didn't work out.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I use photoshop

I think Gimp works too

From memory there is another program that was popular to view / convert stuff from jpeg to tga but i have forgotten it.

Its free and fairly easy to use.

Yes paint.net is very good if you cant get photoshop
