Quick and quite stupid question, but I've played only some mountain-stages and classics like fleche wallonne before, but now i was playing Milan-SanRemo and i found out that i have no idea how to form a train. (I also couldn't find it in the manual) With what 'orders' do you do that? And is 4 people (including your end-sprinter) enough?

Yeah 4 riders are enough! I always use 3.
First of all you have to put a rider with a good flat stat on the dot with 99%.
But only at the last 10 kilometres! Then you´re lead-out man takes the backwheel of your first rider. And you´re main sprinter like Boonen, Cavendish or Hushovd is following him. When there are only 4-5 kilometres to go you have to put your lead-out man on the dot with 99%. When the sprint begins your lead-out man should start sprinting with your main sprinter behind him. At the last 2 kilometres your main sprinter should take the lead by 99% |

And its important that our lead-out man isn`t too weak. I read anywhere that the average of flat+sprint is supposed to be at least 70, better 75.
(flat+sprint)/2 = 70-75+
Otherwise faster sprinters will get you too early.
If the first guy isn`t in the front you can follow the 4th or 5th guy who pace the race.
Then he is coming forwards with the rest of your train. If he is in front go 99% and the dot or long pace that doesn`t really matter.
3 should be enough. But if you have two good flat guys you can take one up to 6-7km and the other one till 3-4km before your lead-out man starts sprinting.
For weaker teams it`s even possible with just 2 guys. Lead-out man and sprinter. But then you won`t win that much, but still better than following other sprinters.

But how do you make sure that for example your sprinter stays in the wheel of the lead-out man. Is there a command for that? (a command like the 'dot' or 'attack' or 'counter-attack' |

There is an S that means sprint. Normally you can click this at 3km. On hilly stages later.
Then there is an S with another symbol. You can click this 12 km before the finish line.
You take your sprinter and right click the leadout man and choose this symbol. You take your leadoutman and do the same on the flat rider.
You should take care between km 16-12 that the 3 riders are in that formation.
It wouldn`t be that good. if your sprinter is your first rider when you arrive the 12 km mark.
So use the pace button a little bit to sort your 3 riders before the 12 km sign.

i'm playing in hard level, and i cannot do a train at the sprint i have tried to put one rider at 99% dot and 2 riders following him but i never get my train in front or in good position to sprint.
I do something like this: at 10km i select the first rider of the train and put him 99% dot and select the 2 other riders to follow him in sprint, but even with a good flat rider in front i cannot get a good position. I have finished tried it with cancellara, grady and breschel and nothing what am i doing wrong? |

My experience with this is you need to very good flat guys and the 1st one needs to go at 11.5 km's to go. Most AI trains move at 10 and therefore its harder for your guys to move up front too. So try starting youre train at 11.5 or 11 kms.

and if i have not very good flat riders? it is possible to make a decent train also, or its a better choice to choose another team sprint wheel?
For example if i have renshaw but if my best flat rider have 70 flat stats i can make a train? |

Their energy doesn't last as long so if you had a team of 70's for the flat try using 5 guys or you could just have your srinter follow another train.

so i can conclude that if i have 2 good flat riders (more than 75 stats) and a sprinter i can make a good train but if i dont have them its better to follow another train.
I have won some sprints but only following another teams train. |

best thing to do is just have your guy follow another good sprinter and hope that his train gets into a good position.
like in real life, sometimes you'll choose the right train and sometimes you'll end up 40 riders back with 3 k to go. |

It`s the easiest way, but definitly not the best. With a little bit training its much more efficiet to make your own train.
@ stormen
Try it with long pace or follow the 4th or 5th leading rider to come in front. It`s sometimes easier if it`s a fast race. Just take care you don`t follow another train. Probably you will lose it. |
