How can i train stamina? I built a young team and they improved their main skills in the first season but their stamina is still very bad. So how can i train stamina?

I'm not at my own computer right now, so I can't check, but my guess is that Northern Classics is the training form that trains stamina the most. |

By the way: Do you know which Training Plain trains the most? I believe it is stage but i'm not sure.
( I don't know if Plain and stage is the right translation because i am German. Hope you do understand me!  )

Maybe someone can post the picture that showed the trainings but I believe northern classics train stamina the most, maybe hilly plan too but not stage races.
