 I can't belelive that. I have bought a new computer with Windows 7. I was very happy but...PCM 09 doesn't run on Windows 7???
Please, It must has a fix!
I played a few days ago with my old laptop. I know install patch and basic concepts about PCM. I am frustrating...

There are a few sollutions in there. As for windows 7 i personally had to re install the game when i got it.
The mods are asleep so we will just have to keep ridiculing him until he goes  |

Jack...I red all topic and I cant find the solution. My PCM doesnt start. Appear the famous error .exe
I cant belelive that this problem is for RAM. My computer has 6G RAM.
Same configuration and database was ok in my old laptop. |

im sure your computer specs are fine. I am pretty bad at all the technical stuff. Your better off trying your chances when the europeans/poms wake up, just bump this tonight(in about 5-12 hours time) when everyone is online. You should find some better help then.
Until then there is not much to do other than installing it differently or checking your c rive for errors. Good luck |

Ok Jack, thank you man. I am going to sleep. I am in USA and is late. I hope that something fix this. F...k Windows 7. When I make click on PCM.EXE (try or not trubleshoot compatibility) appear error.

I have Windows 7 and have had no problems running PCM.
You need to be more specific in your description of the problem. You click ... what happens? Does a white screen come up? Black screen? |

In this order: I click in PCM.EXE, appear white screen, then big black screen, and then come back to windows with white screen an a error message. I'm in my job now and i dont remember exactly message but is something like typical error .exe that everybody knows in XP.
I'm lost. |

Try deleting the Videos folder in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM. |

Have you tried another resolution of your screen?
I first had to lower my resolution (used 1024x768) to open pcm. After I disabled full screen mode in the pcm settings, i could use a higher resolution again. |

Delete the PCM folder in My Documents.
If you have any firewalls, disable them.

I have Windows 7 and problems with game crashing too. I get the "PCM_NiDX9RendererVC80.dll" error when game crashes, i found someone with same problem at cyanides forum but cyanide havent responded with any fix.
I have updated DirectX9 and run the game in Windows XP compatibility mode + run as admin.
CrueTrue you said you use Windows 7, do you have 32 or 64 bit? The guys i mentioned earlier in the post that had same problem also use Windows 7 64bit.
My Specs:
Windows 7 64bit
Inter E6850 3.00GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5
4.00GB DDR2 800MHz RAM |
