I'm hoping they take a LOT of leafs out of Football Manager's books for this (like FIFA did with their failing franchise by taking elements popular from Pro Evo)
Football Manager is an incredibly stable game, I can minimise out and carry on with other stuff, knowing I can come back to it at any time. PCM crashes WAY too often. Just look at the technical help section of the forums.....
There is no sense of 'history' with PCM, I know they are including past winners, but they need to do a lot more. They need a history of the team you take over (for some of the established teams) and some of the riders. (ex-teams/big wins etc..)
Riders & staff seem to lack any sort of personality. FM has this in abundance, with favoured clubs/personnel and dislikes, and also their general personality in relation to demands and behaviour. Surely this can't be too hard to implement?
There needs to be more interaction with sponsors (ala board confidence on FM) as a bar changing colour every so often doesn't really cut it.
Re-vamp the finances screen to include more info, the FM finances screen gives you everything you need to know.
Yeh I know there are loads of PCM 10 suggestion threads, but this is just what sets apart a brilliant management game such as FM, compared to an average/good management game, that could be made SO much better, as the actual 3d mode is great.

I agree completely on this. It's strange, on FM I can have a player who is actually a bit rubbish, but I can't seem to let him go. On PCM, on the other hand, if someone isn't good enough, he's out the door. |

Agreed, but the title should be changed to PCM11.
PCM10 is somehow finished and will only include the promoted changes. |

I totally agree with you, but it shouldn't get too complex either. The sense of history will come in PCM10, I think. From the interview with Eyolfur:
"You'll be able to see race results, teams, rider palmares, etc. from previous years."
I think this will add a little more depth to the game. |

you need to read his comment on the technical thread to understand. It is that nasty bug which was never fixed by cyanide which destroys a career when you leave the game. |

Geez, play PCM10 first.
EDIT: Don't forget PCM is on a much smaller budget than FM. Be thankful we get a cycling game yearly

I want Cyanide to make all national championships. I don't mean that any of them should be playable, but if there is a country, then it must be NC, maybe even simulated, but for all countries.

I agree. Its annoying when Svein Tuft is the canadian champ for 7 years in a row when Barry or Hesjedal could easily be canadian champ as well.

i agree with boubbox
it's more hard to win a tour,if you control just 1 rider and the rest riders of team have personality.
example: i control contador and i'm on mount ventoux.in the leading group are contador,vinokourov and brothers shleck.the brothers help each other but contador with vinokourov no
because vinokourov want to be number 1 in his team
i gave an exemple |
