I did not find a thread for this, so i opened a new one. Hope thats ok.
Currently I'm playing with Caisse d' Epargne, but it's starting to be a little bit easy... So I ask you if you have any tip of which team that fits for me? I want a team that is not very good, but have som riders who can do it well in some races and maybe have a rider that could manage to get a top-5 in a Grand Tour. I really want a team that is offensiv and likes to have riders in breakaways.
I would be really thankful if someone could please help me!

Just half season. Finished after Tour de France. It's pretty interesting to play with FDJ, I've won 2 stages in Tour |

I had a story with FDJeux in the 08 section and it was good. I would take BBox though. Got a great amount of talent with Trofimov, Voeckler, Tschopp and Arashiro. I think you should go with BBox in my opinion.

amen to that, or take Pozzovivo, or Simoni and Serpa, plus young rising star Ginani, or Ricco, or Vacansoleil, and lot others ...

Milram is a very good team for that job... Or Cervélo. CSF - Navigare could also be a good team for your job.
But why just not put the Difficulty up? From Normal to Hard or Hard to Extreme? Then it will get a little more interesting

Difficult: hard at least because everything lower is too easy with every team. Even with the worst team you can win 10-30 stages a year.
My favorite teams:
Pro Tour: Milram, FDJ (but both can be annyoing because you have to take part on the big races without any favorite.
Conti: Cofidis, Bbox. It`s great to fight with your medium riders for a wildcard for big races where you try to win a few stages or the mountain jersey (Moncoutie, Voeckler ftw)

Depends on your style to, in-game it's not really my style to go in breaks alot, or try to win KoM. I'm focusing more on stagewins and overalls. That's why i prefer to take a balanced team, that has riders who have good sprinters, but also riders with a decent hill stat, and one or 2 with a good mountain stat doesn't hurt. This if ofcourse aimed at Conti teams, as most PT teams are balanced enough.

I can confirm it is a lot of fun to play with Bbox they have a lot of promissing young riders (Trofimov Rolland Gautier Arashiro...) and verry good leaders : Fedrigo , Voeckler and Bonnet but with this team you should better try on stage wins than on general classification.
I have won 5 stages in the TdF with them (1 on Sprint with Bonnet, 2 on a Hill stage getting out in the 30 last km (Voeckler Ferdigo) and 2 with long breakaways with Voeckler and Rolland)!
Hope you have fun! |
