Half a month to go and the start in Amsterdam can begin.
My predictions
Overall: Sastre
Points jersey: Greipel
Mountains: Moncoutie
Youth: .. No idea!
Should be an extremely open race without a clear GC favourite.

The last one is maybe a bit chauvinistic, but I really hope Mollema can do well here.

Overall: Evans
Points: Scarponi
Mountain: Kiryienka
Youth: Uran
Evans has been building up to this Giro very nicely. I can't see anyone else as main favourite other than Pellizotti and Basso. Basso's shown he's in ok form, but got well and truely beaten by Vino, Ricco, Pozzovivo, Scarponi in Trentino.
Scarponi will be up there in most hilly stages, and most mountain stages. The points jersey sometimes goes to the most consistant finisher, and I reckon he'll be up there for it. If the break survives on some flat days, I can see the jersey not going to a sprinter.
Mountain jersey is a bit of a hit and miss affair. You can never tell who'll win it, so I'll go for Kiryienka in the hope he'll actually have a free roaming role here for Caisse. It's about time he was allowed to ride for himself.
Youth is easy enough, Uran should have a good pop at it this season me thinks.
