I fancy a old, legendary sprinter in my team which would fight with young blood like Cavendish, Farrar. I think i'll make my story more interesting . So then i thought about Kirsipuu or Cipollini and choosed Kirsipuu hehe. |

2010 AUSTRALIAN ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIPS
WINNER: Angus Morton - Drapac Porsche
Angus Morton of team Drapac - Porsche has won the 2010 Australian RR Championships. It's all began from escape group. It contained 13 cyclist.
Big names like Renshaw (THR), Sutton (SKY). Meanwhile my 3 riders (O'Grady
Cooke, Porte) Stayed in the peloton with Evans (BMC) Rogers (THR) and Gerrans (GAR). with 50 km to go Rory Sutherland counter attack from the peloton trying to reach the escapies who had 4 min advantage over the peloton. The HTC-Columbia riders, Cooke and Porte of Saxo worked hard to reach the escapies but i wasn't enough.
30 KM TO GO
Escapies had 3 mins advantage and Rory Sutherand (Unitedhealthcare by Maxxis joined the escape group.
25 KM TO GO
Attack by Gerrans (GAR) quickly followed by Evans (BMC). However the world champion and Gerrans hasn't jumped out enough out of peloton thanks to Saxo and Astana riders. Escapies still with 2' 30'' advantage
15 KM TO GO
GROUPE RENSHAW -> GROUPE EVANS(1' 55'' -> Peloton(2' 20''
8 KM TO GO
Attack from Rogers (THR) followed by counter attack from O'Grady (SAX). Meanwhile in the escape group Angus Morton attacked no body followed him it looked liked Angus Morton will be Aussie Champion.
Meanwhile Rogers and O'Grady reached Cadel Evans and Gerrans.
5 KM TO GO
O'Grady attacked to reach the escape group on body followed him but it looked like it's too late as they had 1 min advantage.
FINISH
DRAMA FOR MARK RENSHAW HE HITTED THE DECK DURING SPRINT FROM ESCAPE GROUP! SO UNLUCKY FOR MARK
O' Grady thanks to good Downhill skill reached them but was quite tired and had very bad position in the final sprint. Eventually ended last from that group. Angus Morton after solo effort has won! However it was very close. If the race lasted 500 metres more Chris Sutton (SKY) would beat him.
