REAL NAME DATABASE???

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong before I pick up my computer and throw it out the window this morning!?
I cant seem to get the new official real name database to work for the new patch.
Ive tried everything and everytime I load the game, there is good old Kazakstana and all the rest of that rubbish!
Is there a problem with this database?
When you download it should I choose the "Run" or "Save" option. What do I do next? Ive tried everything, I think. Driving me mad!

save.
go to the PCM folder and there's a "Database" folder inside. put in there replacing the OfficialRelease.cdb
or have you tried it already? |

Ive tried everything, dont really have a clue what Im doing, I just work on trial and error basis when it comes to all these updates and downloads etc.

if it's in a .rar file, you've got to extract it from inside there first. |

if it's a RAR file you need to make sure you have WinRAR istalled and when it asks you open or save, click open
this will open up the package in a WinRAR screen, then you have to take the .cdb file and place it in the correct folder

Does this Real Name Database just change the names of teams and riders to their real names or does it edit some other stats and stuff aswell??
Also can i put it on and still play in my career that i currently have without it stuffing up. |

it updates the names and maybe a few stats, but i'm not sure
you need to start a new career to play with it
the PCM Spain db will be out in a few weeeks hopefully so when that comes out i would reccomend you change immediatley as the official names db is crap, and the PCM Spain db will be the best pack out so far

Darkphoenix: It depends on which one you choose. If you choose to use Cyanide's DB, only the names are changed. If you use any other databases, the stats have been updated. Some packages (= most packages) also include other stuff. |

ehh i dont think i will worry about it then. A few wrong names and such doesn't worry me greatly 
Also wat is so good about the PCM Spain db? |
