So, we're in this bit of the season where stuff starts to happen.
Lets start with the schedule, posting it all here would be stupid, so I'm going to post ESPN's top picks:
1. Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, Oct. 3)
Philadelphia at Washington (Monday, Nov. 15)
2. Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (Sunday, Oct. 24)
Green Bay at Minnesota (Sunday, Nov. 21)
3. Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots (Sunday, Nov. 21)
4. Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints (Thursday, Sept. 9)
5. New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, Sept. 26)
Miami at New York Jets (Sunday, Dec. 12)
Also, check out New Englands schedule, it's great.
You can find your teams here: https://espn.go.co...lysis-2010
So, what else is happening around the NFL? The draft (1st round) is tomorrow night, then runs through Friday, Saturday.
Round 1 order:
1 (1) Rams
2 (2) Lions
3 (3) Buccaneers
4 (4) Redskins
5 (5) Chiefs
6 (6) Seahawks
7 (7) Browns
8 (8) Raiders
9 (9) Bills
10 (10) Jaguars
11 (11) Broncos (From Bears)
12 (12) Dolphins
13 (13) 49ers
14 (14) Seahawks (From Broncos)
15 (15) Giants
16 (16) Titans
17 (17) 49ers (From Panthers
18 (18) Steelers
19 (19) Falcons
20 (20) Texans
21 (21) Bengals
22 (22) Patriots
23 (23) Packers
24 (24) Eagles
25 (25) Ravens
26 (26) Cardinals
27 (27) Cowboys
28 (28) Chargers
29 (29) Jets
30 (30) Vikings
31 (31) Colts
32 (32) Saints
So, I've opened this thread because it doesn't really belong in last seasons, neither does it belong in next seasons, we're sort of in nowhere. In other news - It's likely we're not going to have a 2011/12 season, so let's enjoy this one yeah?

Bradford is going #1, Suh is going #2, after that, it is anyone's guess. |

The CBA (agreement between League and Players Union, decides everything from contracts to when the season happens to pensions to TV deals) is expiring, and most people doubt a new one will come together in time.
Anyway, great mock draft from Mr. Simmons https://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/...ons/100420 |

Wish the Rams kept Bulger, picked Suh and then bolstered their O-line the rest of the draft. As soon as they released Bulger everyone who follows football knew they would be picking a QB.
How far back does everyone think Teebow will go? I think late 2nd-early 3rd round.

Rams cannot let Bradford go past them, they made alot of 'safe picks' in the previous years and we all saw how that panned out. Now is the time to draft a franchise player who you can build around.
What time does it start CET wise?

Starts at half past midnight in england and its on ESPN. Anyway i'm just praying that the packers draft a decent OT and maybe a CB with an outside rusher first few picks. Anyway I think the NFC North is going to be good this year if they play this year which I am praying. The Lions should get better the bears with peppers, im not looking forward to that and obviously the packers and vikings everyone knows is decent. I just hope the Lions pick up a bit as it depressing when they play and thanksgiving day. |

ESPN are showing Monday night football now too. As well as NFL Sunday countdown and Monday night countdown.
Seems UK ESPN have woken up.

Shame, normally it would start early...won't be able to follow it live this time around. Just hoping that Seattle will use it's picks wisely. Altough almost every pick is good since we have so many needs, better pass rush so that Curry may also do a better job as an OLB. And then there's the o-line that will need to protect Hasselbeck (or Whitehurst)
I hope they take a nice offensive linemen first, and then take Spiller when he's available. They can let him teamup with Forsett, Spiller isn't a big back but as they said multiple times, he's a playmaker, and when there's a playmaker available, you take him. But whatever happens I have faith in Carroll, has tons of college experience and could be an advantage in this deep draft.

So...
1. Bradford
2. Suh
3. McCoy
ESPN.com has a running ticker at the top, they are on to pick 8 or 9 at this point. |

Found out Bradford is a Canucks fan and almost made the NHL too. What an athelete. I have to get his jersey as soon as they start making them.

Wow, again this shows you how difficult it is to predict a draft. Redskins opt to take Williams where everyone was saying Okung who now fell to Seattle which I think is awesome. Jaguars taking a DE that many didn't have going into the first round, And no Clausen...but Tebow is the 2nd one who is going to Denver. Also at 14 the Seahawks got Earl Thomas which is also a great talent I think who fills a defensive need. With Thomas and Okung they have two players that both could have gone higher.

Not really on the Okung - Williams thing. Williams fits the zone blocking schemes of Shanahan better. |

Hehe also the Raiders taking McClain, did they forget about Bruce Campbell, the great player with amazing speed and size? If they don't take him in the 2nd round it may mean that Al isn;t calling the shots anymore.
Also just looked trough the list of remaining prospects, I'd really like Seattle to take USC's Everson Griffen, fills a need at DE and has played under Carroll at USC. However I'm afraid some other team will take him before we can...
Also where will Clausen go? Some call him the best QB actually at this point, and that he's more ready for the pros than Bradford and Tebow. Altough I do think Bradford and Tebow will come out just fine, ofcourse Tebow has a high bust potential but he's a winner and he'll try everything he can to prove that he;s the real deal.

LAwrence Taylor. Tsk tsk tsk.
For some reason i picture Borat talking about his sister and then saying Very Nice in his funny voice. Although of course this case is way more serious than -Borat
