That leaves to my advice for anyone making a story: Dont use .PNG files for your screenshots. .JPG's uses much less bandwidth and the quality of the files is virtually no different on the small sizes you have to use on a forum anyway.
Using PNG's is laziness and should be punishable somehow.

This is my advice to the forum: Use PNG's as they give much better quality pictures/screenshots. I can tell the difference between jpgs and png files, and especially if your graphics aren't the best using jpgs just make it all look worse.
Plus it annoys Waghlon's slow internet. And he should always be punished.

That only counts when you deal with low quality jpgs. Using Paint.Net you got a quality slider when saving jpgs and when you turn that up to 90% or so, the quality is fine enough for a story.

@Valverde: Why are you making a 08 story, when you have 09?
EDIT: To make this post more usefull, I have a tip. When you take ss, use Gadwin Printscreen. When you take the piucture, you can choose to take picture in an rectangular form! And when you save it, you can choose the name of the picture.

How are the "rules" on the forum? Is each team limited to one story? Do you have to start your story in January 2010?
I'm currently managing Cervelo. Have had a couple of nervewrecking stages and in the middle of Tour de Suisse now. TdF coming up. |
