Now that the majority of teams have sent in their transfer files, it is time to submit your team's training (boosting a rider's stats) for the season, if you choose to buy any.
Please PM me a list of the rider(s) you wish to train, and the stat(s) you want them to be trained in. A rider can be trained multiple times in multiplat stats, if you wish - so long as you can afford it. CT teams need to remember though that they ought to leave some money spare for if they want to be eligible for ProTour wildcards.
Training this year will be limited to riders who are born in the year 1981 or later, and have fully maxed out their XP levels.
Average or Stat | Cost | 85 | 2,000,000 | 84 | 1,800,000 | 83 | 1,600,000 | 82 | 1,400,000 | 81 | 1,200,000 | 80 | 1,000,000 | 79 | 900,000 | 78 | 800,000 | 77 | 700,000 | 76 | 600,000 | 75 | 500,000 | 74 | 450,000 | 73 | 400,000 | 72 | 350,000 | 71 | 300,000 | 70 or under | 250,000 |
Thats the cost to buy 1 individual stat - and how much you have to pay will either:
- Be the value that correlates to the rider's average
- If the stat being trained is higher than the rider's averague, the cost is the price attributed to the new value for the stat
E.g. Jose Rujano. 78 average, 82 mountain stat, 74 hill stat
It would cost 800,000 to improve his hill stat by 1. It would cost 1,600,000 to improve his mountain stat by 1.
A list of all of the training which occurs will be found below.
Rider | Team | Stat Changed | Original Value | New Value | Cost | Fabian Cancellara | Carmeuse Cyclisme | Cobbles | 82 | 84 | € 3,400,000 | Jaime Suaza | Carmeuse Cyclisme | TT | 68 | 73 | € 1,750,000 | Markus Fothen | Pearl Adidas | Mountain | 81 | 82 | € 1,400,000 | Pieter Weening | Pearl Adidas | Hills | 76 | 77 | € 700,000 | Francisco Ventoso | Santander | Hills | 74 | 76 | € 1,200,000 | Robert Gesink | Jack Wolfskin | Hills | 79 | 80 | € 1,000,000 | Joost Posthuma | Jack Wolfskin | TT | 79 | 80 | € 1,000,000 | Dietmar Mehr-Wenige | Auber 93 - Look | Hills | 76 | 77 | € 700,000 | Pierre Rolland | Auber 93 - Look | TT | 76 | 77 | € 700,000 | Tejay van Garderen | Wikipedia | Hills | 80 | 81 | € 1,200,000 | Tyler Farrar | Wikipedia | Flat | 71 | 72 | € 400,000 | Tyler Farrar | Wikipedia | Stamina | 71 | 75 | € 1,850,000 | Tyler Farrar | Wikipedia | Sprint | 78 | 79 | € 900,000 | Damiano Carusso | Wiggle - San Pellegrino | Resistance | 69 | 71 | € 750,000 | Raúl Granjel Cabrera | Sony Ericsson | Flat | 74 | 75 | € 600,000 | Walter Pedraza | Sony Ericsson | Mountain | 79 | 80 | € 1,000,000 | Walter Pedraza | Sony Ericsson | Stamina | 70 | 71 | € 500,000 | Chris Froome | 100% Me | Hills | 75 | 77 | € 1,300,000 | Chris Froome | 100% Me | Stamina | 71 | 74 | € 1,200,000 | Victor Hugo Orozco | Red Bull | Stamina | 67 | 68 | € 250,000 | Alberto Contador | Festina | Mountain | 81 | 83 | € 3,000,000 | Vincenzo Nibali | Domina Vacanze | Mountain | 79 | 81 | € 2,200,000 | Sergei Kolesnikov | Warner Brothers | Mountain | 72 | 76 | € 2,200,000 | Vadim Ratiy | Lipton Ice Tea | Flat | 62 | 65 | €1,500,000 | Thomas Bontenackels | Lipton Ice Tea | TT | 74 | 76 | €1,100,000 | Thomas Rohregger | Team Telenor-SAS | TT | 73 | 74 | € 450,000 | Aleksandr Pluchkin | Team B&O | Mountain | 81 | 82 | € 1,400,000 | Rigoberto Úran | Vesuvio-Accumalux | Hills | 73 | 74 | € 900,000 | Aleksandr Efimkin | Milka | Hills | 79 | 80 | € 1,000,000 | Geert Steurs | Team Nespresso | Hills | 69 | 71 | € 900,000 | Nolan Hoffman | Team Nespresso | Flat | 74 | 76 | € 1,100,000 | Damiano Cunego | La Gazzetta dello Sport | Hills | 80 | 83 | € 4,400,000 | Thomas Lovkvist | Philips - TDC | Mountain | 77 | 78 | € 800,000 |

have 2 questions if I may
1) I´m more than 200K under my salary cap, can I use this money for requesting of WCs?
2) I have rider with excellent sprint abilities, but poor FLA (67)/STA(66) skill. Is it worthy to pay 500k and increase his FLA skill to 69...will this boost help him to achieve better results in game?

1) no, only budget money applies to this and wild cards
2) SN should answer that, but I doubt moving it up to 69 will do much. The thing it will do is allow you to move it up into the seventies in the near future. |

so what for are these spare money? will I save them (and will be my salary cap increased by this amount) for next season at least?

thanks, with his 81 SP and only AVG 69 it could be worthy to boost him over 70 in future...but as a new team I have only 500k to spend atm

The amount of money you have left in the salary cap is irrelevant now. Look solely at the balance, which for you beagle is 715k. That money can either be spent on training, wildcards or saved - with a proportion of it then being carried over to next season

Id like to reiterate:
A rider can only be trained at level 4, with 100 XP. (Fully maxed out XP levels)

*wonders how many managers actually bothered to read the changes to training when it was first posted up...*

How are you working out the average? All stats or just certain ones?
Planning on training a rider multiple times, so I guess I need to work out the average after each bit of training. |

The average column is in the database file, so just project your additions onto it, and see if that changes the average

A hypothetical question.
If I decide to train Diego Ulissi next year:
He is 77 AVR.
I train him 81 hill, so 2,2mil. He's still 77AVR.
Then I train him 75 sprint. 1,4mil.
He get's to 78AVR. and I train him +1 sprint. 800k.
I have now spent 4,4mil on him. He get's another +7 recuperation for free?
This will make him go up 12 stats for only 4,4mil. Is that right?

Nope. The recuperation is meant for sprinters, not for hilly riders. I'm sure that that would be considered 'misusing' the rules and would be forbidden. |
