Pesky Date Time Error

OK, so I'm new to PCM and I'm having problems with Hannes. It's giving me the Date Time error. I've downloaded the "english" file and popped it into the Hannes folder but still no luck...
What else am I missing?

I have the same problem, and I haven't been able to figure anything out yet. For some riders, the error appears when I try to select them. For others, the error appears when I try to save the edits I've made... |

The english file? The English editor is a seperate program which you need to install. Double click the file and install it.
It's likely that it won't fix your problem, though. |

the "english file" is one that I found on another, related thread and was simply a notebook file. It wasn't a file I could "run."
Do you know how to fix this issue? Seems as though it's working for other users... |

I too keep getting a data time error. I used the Hannes 1.2 editor and when I try to add a team or a cyclist I get this error. It's happened every time I have tried. Any suggestions? |

Please make sure the birthday of a rider is in the right order.
For example the editor does this to Contadors Birthday 61/21/982_
When you type a 0 before the 6, it changes to 06/12/1982
When saving, you won't get the error |

Da Rizzer is spot on. The problem seems to be with the birth date of the rider, and his advice does solve the problem.
But it doesn't help with the riders I can't even access (such as Will Bonnet on Credit Agricole). For some reason I can't get into his file... |

ah HA!
I live in the US, and so my computer is set to the US date/time format (08/19/07). I went into the preferences and reset the format to the UK system (19/08/07), and now I can get into any rider's info, edit it, and save it, jesss fine.

I actually figured out the birthday thing, and yes, it did allow me to save. The game crashes when I try to start it again with the saved info. though.
Man, this game is work. |
