How to calculate AVG?

I'm currently involved in a Db-project. When deciding stats it's way to easy to overrate rider.

Does anyone know the formula for AVG? It's not adding all the values of stats and divide by the number for stats. Any ideas people?

The average is automatically worked out by the game. The value for potentiel is just unuseful.

But what's the formula? It has to based on the individual stats?

I'll try to do some reasearch in Excel.

The AVG is calculated by the 'skills' currently matching the specialization of a rider. So when he is, for example, a stage racer, then stats like MO, TT and REC are important. For a Northern Classic rider, COB and SP are the more important ones. How it is calculated exactly, I would not know, but maybe you can guess/calculate it based on this info...

I think they take the top 6 stats then divide them by 6
But it's a bit more complicated, they ignore some stats etc Frown

They take the best 2 stats out of COB/SP/TT/MO/HIL
+ REC END RES

and divde the result by 5.. = average stat
