i have been having a problem with my career mode and i was hoping you could help me...
i am in my first season and his has happened to me a couple of times now, i finish up on a bit of game time and close down PCM, i have been backing up some of my saves at regular intervals incase i screw things up. when i come to reload the game the next time, all seems well, however, when i move to next day/event it goes past events without prompting me to select a team or 3d race or simulate or anything. my calander stops updating with the winners on races although the game has gone past the event in question. messages do appear however (new ones) and it says training after each day and it displays the races that should be happening on each day but it doesnt actually let me simulate or 3d race the races.
I am in new zealand at the moment and have had trouble with getting patches (not sure if this would fix the problem) when i try to install the patch it asks for some form of ID code which i would expect to be written on the back of the game manual but it is not in the manual at all.
I would really appreciate any help on this topic because i am enjoying the game but i will be forced to end my career as a cycling manager prematurely if i effectively cannot save my progress on my career. I have tried backing up the saves as i mentioned earlier but even when i load an old save on the same career i get the same bug.
just read back your reply, in terms of the winners of the races not appearing, i mean that seems to be part of the bug, when i load it up after saving, sometimes i cannot progress with the career, i press next day /event or simulate with interuptions to a certain date and the game progresses to this date or the next day but it doesnt prompt me to choose a team, simulate a race or go to a 3d race, i tried just to go forwards out of it but i skipped forward a month and it kept happening still, when i look back at the month previous in the calender (that i have just skipped) there are no winners to the races that are now long gone which suggests its not even simulating even without my input. Effectively then, all i can do is move the timeline forward without being able to partake in any races and the races dont even simulate without me,
very fruhstrating, would appreciate any help at all on the topic.
