Stage 1:
Stage 2:
Stage 3:
Stage 4:
Stage 5:
Stage 6:
Stage 7:
I always like the stage 6 kinda route... really sorts out the men from the boys
I'm also putting it out there that I reckon Evans/Ballan will podium. Nibali won't. And Pozzato will underperform for his wage, as usual.

I was getting used to watch Montelupone every year and Rodriguez winning it.
Well let's see how this unfolds anyway but I believe Androni's gonna be hard to beat...

4 men just hold off the peloton. Paolini had a slight gap, Breschel closed it down, went for it, but was passed by Gerdemann and Lastras, with the German winning.

1. Gerdemann
2. Lastras
3. Breschel
4. Paolini
5. Hutarovich
6. Rojas
7. Farrar
8. Bandiera
(No time gap given though, just the bonus seconds)
The pack actually closed the gap, but lost it again after the final turn

I saw the result and I thought, huh?
But now I read that they just held off the peloton. Would be weird if Gerdemann beat Farrar in a sprint lol |

It's weird how sky caught them before the last turn, but than completely failed at everything.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

Was it Sky? The commentary I was listening to thought it was Cervelo - hard to tell a bit with the rain coats on many

Yes, two Sky (definitely) riders managed to get into Gerdemann's slipstream in the last turn, but the one in the front just stopped for no apparent reason, and the rider behind him didn't react at all, nor did anybody else.

Flecha pulled it back, then sat up job done. Hushovd didn't go through because he's a plank. So the gap went back out before some other blokey started to sprint. By which point Hushovd didn't even bother anyway. Nugget.

No, it was Flecha - Hushovd. Not two Sky.

Anyone know where Cavendish finished? Had a bet on him placing higher than McEwen on the stage. |

You may have lost that one... he was dropped on the climb apparantly.

So, 'Bunch Packed' is back for another year in RCS organized races. Yay!
Please let them get back to 'Gruppo Compatto'... |

I like Bunch packed.
And that was on werid ass sprint. But fair do's to sky not leading Hushovd to a win. Strange stuff though.

Well, at least it was better than some of the early giro 2009 stuff, they had horrible english, then corrected it, to just bad english.
But it's entertainment

I still prefer the good old native language in races. |
