Saving an playing my db

Hello all
I've made my own db with the hannes editor 1.2 beta
and saved it over the official release db
but when i play the game its tsill the old official release and not my db
please help on how to save my db so i can play with it!!!!!!!!! |

Have you tried saving the whole db with the "save game" icon (looks like floppy disk), as a different name into the database directory in PCM 2007? Then go into my computer/program files/cyanide/pcm 2007/database, if the db's in there then rename the original OfficialRelease database as anything e.g. OldOfficialRelease, then rename the database you want as OfficialRelease. Hope this is useful.
Note: You must spell OfficialRelease exactly how the original one was spelt, otherwise it won't work.
Also where did you the Hannes EDITOR version 1.2 from, not the Hannes converter 1.2.

i tried that but when i do that i get a 3d engine error :s
that must have something 2 do with my db
maybe my db has some sort of error??
i just changed some stats and names thats all |

What Database do you use (if you use one), and have you dowloaded the patches, and if so which ones? Also: where did you get Hannes EDITOR 1.2?
Sorry for what i've done above, I've really F****d that up!

How do you delete them, and after this can we get back on topic, mumsy says i have to be bed by 19:30 sharp otherwise she'll take away my laptop extraporlator, and I won't be allowed to play on Dungeons and Dragons!!!
Also is there a Hannes EDITOR 1.2 or was Sloffey getting mixed up with the Hannes CONVERTER 1.2???

Well, ontopic I don't know how to solve it, but to delete posts you click in the edit button and then in the delete post beneath your posts. All that you have to do then is save changes...B)

the BETA version is called Hannes Editor 1.2, it isn't released fully yet
and there isn't a Hannes Convertor 1.2 it's 2.0

i say what i want to change (i juts want to change some climbing and tt stats)
you adjust it and send it to me again.

and i will also download the db and change them, then send it to you
saves sending the db back and forth

well there is only 1 db compatable with the latest patch, anyhow and it is fairly crap, but you can use it if you wish, it is in the downloads section Official Real Names db 1.0.2.0 or something
as i say it is crap, but that is because it contains 2 fake teams
