Just to let you know I will b playing on Hard and just in case you weren't sure CSF Group Navigare has Sella and Grillo on it's team. I'd also like to be Tinkoff but I'm not sure becasue theres a 06 story.

Yes, he's doing it slow, but yes, it's alive
Anyway, FDJ could be great

Anyway, his story is almost fantasy, especially because there aren't any Russian riders in Russian team

Ok so here I go
Francais de Jeux
I was excited fo today as I had heard the announcments and everybody else heard the announements. And that was of course that a canadian had signed on to FDJ. Not as a rider though but as a Directeur Sportif. His name was Patrick Wersley. He was a rookie Directeur and for that will not manage every race. I would however get most of the duty as I had a significantly larger salary than the other Directeur Sportif on the team. My first race would be announced later. But I was supposed to announce our squad for this season so here I go.
Our Team Leaders:
Philipe Gilbert is one of the best classics riders in the current era. He is good on medium mountains and short climbs but he is also very good on cobblestones. HE is the team leader for every classics race the FDJeux will race this year.
This is Sebastien Chavanel who is our teams sprinter. Although he isn't the best sprinter in the world he can compete with the big guys once in a while and I beleive that he will one day grow into a speed demon.
Sandy Casar is our best rider in the mountains. He can keep up with the best from time to time but in a long 3 week stage-race he just doesn't have the strength. But don't be surprised if he wins some shorter stage races like the Tour de Suisse.
Team Stats:
These are the Teams Goals.
Tommorow is our first race. We will be racing in the Tour Down Under.

do you guys think I should bring Gilbert to the TDU. I think our team might be near the bottom of the PT and early season points would definately help. So what do you think. |

Vanendert on, say, 65 fitness would do just as good a job, as the rest of the teams will be out of shape as well. Or Vaugrenard. I'd save Gilbert's race days for more important races where there are more points to be earnt.
