Riders can't take the lead of the peloton?!

Junior Rider Posts: 36 Joined: 15-09-2009 PCM$: 200.00	In the start of a race, I send a rider to the front, to take the lead. It goes vel for a sec, then the other teams go to the front (even if I have the leadersjersey), and my rider just fall down the peloton, and lay in the back. I've tried to put them on 99%, but after one lead, the fall back in the midle of the peloton! They er around 70 in flath, and 70 at least in endurance(you know, the thing classicriders are good in, i don't know the english word) So i can only control the speed, if there is no one else who does it. Anyone know what to do about that?

Under 23 Posts: 75 Joined: 13-03-2007 PCM$: 200.00	You have to set your rider to relay (and a high % value; 99 works, but will kill your rider quickly). At the beginning of the race, teams are not really charging, so you should have no problems staying at the front of the peleton. If you want to keep your rider at the front for a long time, put him on relay forever (or whatever it's called).
