Road Race

In this mountainous circuit, there's a big favourite, Rujano. But, there are plenty of good climbers who can upset the odds.


In the second climb of the day, there is already a group at the front. And what a group! José Chacon, Ochoa Quintero, Torres, Vasquez, Medina, Delgado, Rodríguez and Rujano. The only favourite missing is Alarcon.

In the same climb, Rodríguez and Rujano ride away from the rest.

With 122km yet to run, Rujano drops Rodríguez. He feels he can hold the 5 minutes advantage he has to the chasing group in which Alarcon and a few other riders has entered.

50km to go and Rujano's advantage to Rodríguez is 9 minutos. The chasing group is 18 minutes behind the Rujano!

After an amazing long effort, Rujano is the new champion of Venezuela!

Vasquez passed Rodríguez, so he gets the second place.

Amazingly, Rodríguez is able to hold off Delgado to third place.

Time Trial

Rujano made a great effort in the RR. Can he repeat the victory in the TT?

Delgado fails to take the lead by 4 seconds.

Franklin Chacon equals Delgado, not getting the provisional 3rd by tenths of a second.

Rujano disappoints, as he loses 16 seconds to his teammate. Even Ochoa, a free agent, does better than him.

Rujano didn't make the double, but SIC Radical did thanks to the victory of Jackson Rodríguez!
