I don't, simply because the AI-controlled teams don't. |

I use them every year. Is a quick easy way to get the basic fitness of some of your riders up - especially those peaking for the spring classics. |

I used to do them. Now i find setting a good fitness schedule works more efficiently.

If you are a continental team it would be a wise move. With good fitness you can get a lot of points in the beginning of the season.
Also if you are a weak Pro Tour team it could be smart to get a rider to win or take a few stage wins in the Tour down Under |

If you want more of a challenge then you shouldn't use them, because they help to improve riders early season fitness.

I don't use them, because then my riders are poo in the Autumn And in the Autumn, I always ride those small races with the not-that-good riders, to make them better |

I use them, but only for (some of) the TDU team.
Fitness is set randomy for each rider at 01/01, and without the training camps, you might be tempted to either restart the game over and over on 01/01 to get good fitness, or select different riders for the first PT race.
I would also use it if I had any aussies on my team.
Starting around early feb, a good training schedule will offset a bad initial fitness. |

I always send the riders I want to win at the following races on a training camp in the last 10 days in January. Milan-San Remo, Cobbled Classics, P-N, T-A.
The rest of the team don't go as once they get over 60 fitness they start getting fatigued and there's not a lot of point being at 60 fitness at the start of February if you want to win in the Ardennes, the Giro or the Tour. |
