It's time for the US champs and on today's sharp hilly course the favourites are Van Garderen, Phinney and Daneilson
and we are off
We have a break of 7 O'Bee, Wherry, Vande Velde, Farrar, Powers, Brandt and Johnson
Their lead peaked at 8 min but with 110km to go it was down to 5 as Nydam and Summerhill attacked
100kmm left and they catch the break, the peleton are close though
80km left and Wikipedia are holding the break at1'20", however they must be getting tired, having been on the front all day
50km to go and the break explodes with Summerhill and Nydam going clear, the peleton is 1 minute back
39km left and we are all together in a peleton of 27
Up the final major climb and Raisin, Danieilson, Phinney and Jacques-Maynes attack
Van Garderen goes as well
Zirbel and Zabriskie join in on the fun
Over the top Zirbel Zabriskie and Van Garderen have 45 seconds
25km left
However no one wants to take up the pace and with 20km to go the attackers come together
Still no one pushes the pace and so 7 more join the front group, Leiphimer attacks
No one goes with him and he has 25 seconds under 10km to go.
6.2km left and he is pulled back
In a sprint the favourite is in only free agent, Holloway, however Phiinney is also a strong finisher.
4km to go and Kinney is leading out Phinney and Van Garderen while Nydam is leading Jacques Mayne on the left for BMC
2km left and Danielson is going for it on the outside
Phinney makes his move with 1.4km left
600m to go and Van Garderen tries to go round him
He is closing hard but Phinney hangs on for victory
Raisin is 3rd ahead of Colby with Jacques-Maynes taking 5th
sorry a crash means I don't have the full results

TT- Zabriskie will win but 2nd place will give someone the US champs and Phinney is looking good for the double victory
Zirbel sets the early pace
Jacques-Maynes beats him by 32"
Danielson takes the lead comfortably
but then Zabriskie beats him by almost 3 minutes
Donald falls one second short of Danielson
Phinney is the last rider to challenge and by 7 seconds he wins the US TT championships
