Anyone plays this game, or any FPS in general?

This will happen to you if you play it.

I know a guy who is worse actually one of my good freinds and he will yell and scream at you. No one is able to play with him in person or else he will beat you up when you kill him.

I play it; and without a doubt: best first-person shooter ever !
I have no problems with it

This game is one of the best games i have ever played, if not the best. Yet half of the time i feel screwed by it.
Edit:
It's still in my Top 5 of computer games i enjoyed.
1. World of Warcraft
2. Enemy Territory
3. Modern Warfare 2
4. Pro Cycling Manager
5. Counter-Strike 1.6

Iv'e played it for Computer and PS3 and Xbox and have to say that they are completly the same except the controls. the loading screens are a bit nicer on the computer but that's not really part of the game if you ask me.

Ive decided to ignore the existance of this because of the heavily nerfed PC version and because the Activision CEO is so stupid he shouldn't have my mon-ay.
And because damn it, Counter-Strike 1.6 is still the best online FPS to this day.

I'm not impressed with this game at all. Primarily because I suck at it (online, that is) - but also because I don't like the way it works online.
A few examples:
1. When someone attacks with a knife, I'm killed even when I'm barely 'hit' by it. It's more effective than using any submachine...
2. When you use the zoom function, it tends to block the view - at least, that's how I feel.
3. But the worst of it, and the main problem: All the weird stuff that people can get from kill streaks. A helicopter that can kill everyone who's outside buildings? A UAV-thing so you can see where your opponents are? Some sort of bomb that can kill everyone within a certain distance?
Not to mention that one can unlock certain weapons and other stuff as they get better, making them even better. E.g., one weapon comes with the UAV - it makes one hell of a difference that you can see where your opponents are. And some weapons are simply 'stronger', thus more effective. One can 'hit me' with one bullet, and I'll die, after I've hit him with 10 using my less strong weapon.
By giving all these extra things as you get better just makes the inequality between the newbies, such as me, and the more trained people much, much larger.
In short, I don't like all the extra stuff. I want fair combats - same weapons, same possibilities.
... and that's why I love playing Battlefield 1943. Excellent game |

Totally agree, that's what i ment with

An FPS that i have always loved is still Enemy Territory, it's a free downloadable FPS (legit). No unfair advantages. Well, in matches that is. You will want to kill yourself if the first server you join is a Jaymod XPSave 4 Ever and get owned because some guy has 'adrenaline' and therefor can take double damage before he dies, so bassicly you can't kill him without reloading. Besides that the pro scene is fun, to bad alot of hackers are there recently.
About Battlefield: It isn't really my style. I bought 2142 on the computer but i just never enjoyed it. On my PS3 i bought Bad Company, but that was imho the worst game i have played on my PS3, no offence. I tought it would be awesome with 95% of the enviroment destructable, but guess what, you can't ride trough a lil fn tree that you can hardly see on your screen but still you drive wright into (ware)houses without any little trouble. |

Well. Crysis was sorta fun in multiplayer. Because the enviroment actually broke and nothing beats killing someone by dropping a tinfoil roof on his head and then sniping him while he's stuck in the ruins.

Kami: I agree that 2142 wasn't good. BF1942 for PC was excellent - especially with a mod (Desert Combat? I remember it as being called that).
Hadn't played BF since then (I bought 2142, but, as said, found it rather disappointing) until I found BF1943 on PS Store. It costs c. 13 €, and for that amount of money, you get an excellent multiplayer-only game. Haven't tried the other BF games for PS3 yet, but will probably buy BF: Bad Company 2. |

Crysis seemed like a awfull lot of fun. I actually bought it, but my old computer couldn't run it, had 0-1 FPS =D. So i had to return it and so i actually never played it for real except for a few hours at a friends home.

I had CoD 4 on my PS3, i didn't enjoy the multiplayer, because it sucks so bad with 2 joysticks to aim <.<. I did love the story mode so much, finished it like 5-7 times or something, didnt get bored. |

I have the demo for BF bad company 2 and I have to say it's even better than Cod. There's more weapons (60-70 i beleive) and You can go on vehicles like Helicopters, ATVS and snowmobiles. And I find it's easier online. If your at the top of a very tall building and decide that you want t ojump off the side you can becasue you can activate your parichute so that you live after you touch ground. I just find this game a lot better.

Ah yes, Battlefield. A good one simply because of the ability to perform dynamic entries: Parachute right into the enemy spawnpoints.
Sadly BF2142 was never as good as one could have hoped. Maybe because it abandoned reality. In what reasonable world can i stand on top of a transport-flying-thing and shooting down other planes?
