Time for the easily the most eagerly awaited National Championships. The good news is we do have a photographer present at the event - the bad news is he had no idea who most of the riders were, and ended up only taking snaps of the favourites. As it was a TT, the results were on the whole predictable.
In a class of his own, was Haijun Ma from Team LEGO - Capri-Sonne. He powered his way around the course, led at every check and was an easy winner on the day. His reward - glory and the Chinese TT jersey for next year.
Sergei Lagutin of Eurosport rode well, but never came close to Ma, and has to settle for less glory on the day, but does capture the Uzbek TT jersey for next year.
The camera man is a bit of a fan of Fumiyuki Beppu and the M&M rider is seen here into riding to fourth on the day on his way to taking the Japanese TT jersey for next year.

Time now for the Asian Championship Road Race. We have a big field so should be in for an interesting race here on a hilly course in Utsunomiya, Japan.
We join the race with just about 100k to go. Two Indonesian riders have slipped away from the field. Contract-less Haryanto riding with Ultra's Fitrianto and have a lead of just over 6 minutes.
80k to go the lead has gone out to just over 8 minutes. Strangely, it is Haryanto's International team for the day who are doing most of the pace setting back in the group.
It is not long before they start to eat into the gap. The lead is still around 4 minutes with about 60k to go and we have attacks from the pack. Fauzi (Malaysia), Li (Ernst and Young), and Arashiro (Japan) are the riders who are trying to force things.
The International team increase their efforts at the front of the pack and Olympus move up too to give the chase added impetus. 50k left, the front two have a lead of 3 minutes on the chasing trio, who are just over a minute up on the pack.
30k to go and Fauzi, Li and Arashiro have been reeled back in. At the front the two Indonesian riders have seen their lead to fall to just over a minute.
Time for the serious business to begin. Beppu (M&M) is first to make a move.
Ma (Lego), Tang (Ultra), Tuychiev (International), and Xu (China) follow soon after.
They are quickly up and past the leaders and on this hill with just over 25k to go the pack goes into meltdown.
Tuychiev finds himself out in front and his lead to a chase 8 (Tang, Ji, Ma, Doi, Beppu, Fitrianto, Xu and Haryanto) goes up to 34" at one stage. Behind these eight, others are trying to bridge across from the pack which imploded at the top of that last climb. Just over 20k are left of the race.
Beppu, Ma, Jianhua Ji and Xu attack from the second eight.
Beppu is the guy with the legs though and now with 10k to go he is the man out front and alone.
Just 20 seconds behind him is the Chinese pair of Jianhua Ji and Gang Xu. A little behind them and still in with a shot at the Chinese championship is
Ma.
No one is going to catch Beppu now and with the Chinese riders behind playing a cat and mouse game, Fumiyuki Beppu is left to ride solo to the line and win the Asian championships on home soil.
Behind Xu is the man with the strength and power in the final kilometer to kick for the line and claim the Chinese jersey for next year. The beaten Jianhua Ji (Alpro) will no doubt be gutted to have come so close. Just behind Ji, we see the new champion of Qatar - Olympus AirAsia's Esmaeli.
There are plenty of other small groups coming in ahead of the pack. Let's see if we can spot any new national champions.
Here's Tuychiev - the new Uzbek champ at the head of a group comprising of two more Chinese riders, Ma and Cheng Ji.
Next, here's the battle for the Hong Kong championship. Kin-San Wu looks to be edging out Ultraman Wang-yip Tang, with Yukihiro Doi behind the pair.
Acqua and Sapone would have a champion for next year if they manage to retain their license, with Sohrabi finishing ahead of Lagutin here.
Performance of the day - though Beppu and the Japanese fans will no doubt disagree - may well go to the new Indonesian Champion, Hari Fitrianto who just has the legs to come in ahead of the pack after being off the front nearly all of the day. 13th is not unlucky for him.
Then comes the pack and buried amongst them we no doubt have some more champions. Champions who finished in the pack and the photographer unfortunately missed.
