There are quite a few favourites and two big enough teams to control the race (Benfica and Energie-Diesel), so it should be an interesting race.


Portela and Lucas Martins make the breakaway.

Benfica looks to be controlling the race by relaying in the peloton.

Despite that, the front duo's advantage is of 10'30'' with 50km to go.

Sabido and Ribeiro attack in the peloton but it's too late to fight for the victory.

Portela drops Lucas Martins with 18km to go. It seems that nothing will take the win from him.

Marcio Portela is the new Portuguese Champion! This young rider surely has improved chances of getting a team for next season.

Time Trial


Ricardo Martins is an early starter and he sets a pretty good time.

Hélder Miranda does 14 seconds worse than him.

Broco is also one of the favourites and he beats the previous best time by 10 seconds.

10 seconds is also the difference to Paulinho. But the SIC-Radical rider takes the lead!
