Vuelta a Espana - Stage 16

This is probably the queen stage of this year's Vuelta. I haven't checked the upcoming stages, but this one is really crazy with its long, steep mountains.

No matter how impossible it looks there's always some riders who will try their luck. Today, it was Roberts, Astarloa, Deignan, Piil and Vansevant. The first mountain of course splitted the group, meaning that Astarloa went solo with Deignan and Piil behind him.

In the peloton, it's Unibet.com controlling the affairs, helped by Credit Agricole.

Rujano goes solo - probably in an attempt to secure some mountain points. There's 70 km to go.

All escapees except for Rujano has been reeled in.

Rujano was first over the 2nd mountain top, getting 16 points. He will soon be caught by the peloton.
