Activation Problem

Just installed the game for the first time, and when I put my serial number in and hit activate, I get a failure message that says:

Failure reason: Unable to connect to the activation server. Check your Internet connection and try again.

I'm having no issues with my internet service so at a loss here. I did send the error report to customer support. Any suggestions?

Firewalls can usually be an issue. Other than that, it could either be something else with your computer (in which case wait for CrueTrue or someone else to come on tomorrow and tell you what to do, I don't know), or it could be something on cyanide's end.
