Ok, after a couble of hours playing i finally got to tour of qutar where the first race is a time trial, so i was wondering if there was any tips on how to set the lead time for each rider, i have tried with the 10sec but that just put me at the bottom. |

TEAM time trials are insane. I can never get the hang of them.
I'm curious to read what others think of them. |

I would put all you riders who aren't good TTist on the back and have your better riders pull the whole way. Its a short Team time trial. Thats just what i do. |

With Qatar, it's so short get your best riders up to the front, put them on 99% relay for as long as possible, and you only need 2/3 to get you to the finish line

I usually just 'sim' it. 9 times out of 10 its a better result than I would of managed by actually playing the stage in 3D. I might try Crommy's technique tonight though...Although since I play as QSI in my career I'm a little short on good TTists (Rosseler I think is 74, and thats as good as it gets ) |

It depends on how long the TTT is.
If the TTT is very long, you should have your weakest riders to relay 99 for the first part, and arrive to the finish line only with your 5 best TTers.
If the TTT is short, as crommy said, just use your best TTers.
When the blue bar finishes, it's time to stop relaying anche give the change.
In a TTT you only need to have some blue bar only with your last man who relays at the end. |

Normally I put my good guys on about 20 seconds, but lower it if it's long or they get tired

I usually stagger my TT'ers - the time length depends on the course length and profile. 18 secs is good for your best skilled rider (80-85) then lower the time by roughly 2-3 seconds until you get down to 8 seconds. (low 60's) Keep an eye out on stamia (blue bar) for all riders - if the bar is lower that the reminder of the course I usually skip that rider's turn pulling, but I'll let him go all the way to 2nd or 3rd position in line. Becareful everytime you skip a pull in line will give your other riders less time to recover.
Final note: If you notice your 'better' skilled TT'er not getting tired, I would increase their time at the front (I do this in increments of 2 seconds) <- you won't have much time to adjust on shorter TT though.
Doing it this way usuall places me in the top 7 places - depending on how good my team is at the moment.
Good Luck!
