Team:
Roman Klimov

Peter Stetina
Romain Sicard
Filippo Savini
Team Tactics: Set up Maximiliano Richeze for the sprint and hopfully get the win.
On the flat route there was not much action with the break of the day being caught 30km out so the sprint was set up and Frapporti had the richeze brothers in pole postion
Richeze then left his brother 1.5km out in 3rd place.
Richeze then just could not get up enough sterength and despite getting closer to gasparotto he could not go past and finshed a good fourth.

Team:
Maximiliano Richeze

Alessandro Bisolti
Umberto Nardecchia
Filippo Savini
Michele Gaia
Raúl Turano
Lluis Guillermo Mas
Team Intructions:
Get Richeze to the sprint and hopefully win.
The day before the race started i got given the team sheet and with us expecting Richeze to come good in the first stage with 80 fitness(and on race day +5 form) i got a surprice with columbia's team.
Boassen Hagen
Cavendish
Hincapie
Henderson
Eisel
Greipel.....
Damn we now have no chance at least Richeze can go for 6th
After a boring start to the race the break was caught and we lined up for the sprint with Gaia leading Mas,Finetto,Turano and Richeze we had a good postion.
Then 6km out disaster Mas about to take the lead columbia came flying on the outside and mas tried to react but ended up losing momentum and going backwords quickly.
3km to go richeze now had no chance 20 riders back and Henderson leading Cavendish into 3rd place behind the 2 riders who went for an early sprint richeze had to make a move.
Suddenly he picked up and flew into 6th place with a 1km to go the 2 in front were getting tired and with cavendish basicly gone 2nd place looked on.
"Cavendish is stopping HE'S STOPPING MAXI GO GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!" maxi was flying 0.5km out he is 1 wheel length behind but still in 4th.
200 meters he is nearly there come on Maxi.
50 meters out there in a line.
THE FINISH but who got it no one is celebrating did maxi get it .
