Crash to Desktop!

Hi
Hope you guys can help me, i have a p4 3.4 normal cpu 7800 GTS SLI computer.
When i have installed PCM 2007 and try to start a carrer it crashes back to the desktop, and no matter what i try it still wont go past waiting for connection so does anybody know what i can do so i can get to play the game? |

Yeps, installed the patch and it still wont work, funny thing is when i installed the exact same game on my laptop it worked fine, and for fun i downloaded the demo and installed it on my main and it worked fine.
So im at a loss , what the devil can be wrong? |

Let me guess, you are using a crack, a no-cd patch from Reloaded, aren't you?

It depends on the version of the crack. This we have here in this site has not problems, but the older one has lots of them. I can say that I was a member who was helping the people who was downloading PCM07 in one of these p2p sites, and the reloaded version had that problem with the other crack. This one is the updated version.

Yes i was using the nocd patch, but when i try with the orginal cd it does the same thing. stops at waiting for connection and crashes back to desktop.

Did you try to reinstall the game without applying the no-cd patch? |

All that you have to do is:
Unistall the game and Gamecenter
Erase Cyanide folder
Erase Pro Cycling Manager folders in my documents and the hidden folder in C/Documents and Settings/User named application data (this last one doesn't exist if you don't reached to create a new game without crashing after installing the game)
Reinstall the game, without applying the no-cd patch.

Yes i have tryed to reinstall , but its the same thing, crashes back to desktop
for me it seems something is blocking it from doing something |

That's the experience...I said that I helped dozens of portuguese noobs before. Some of then didn't even knew how to show the hidden folders, so I am pleased to help a member who did not need my help anymore after I tell the steps to follow....I want to play in peace, you understand me...I am happy for you...
