Even though 2 puncheurs are rated as the big favorites, the only Pro Tour one day race in September looks to be one made for sprinters. And some of the best sprinters in the World at the moment are here: Bennati, Cavendish, Hushovd, Vantomme, Davis, Steegmans, Vanderbiest Serebriakov, Loddo, Croket, Weylandt, Trusov, Clerc and many others.

Is that a clue to how this will go? Not even mention Cavendish. |

Come on, just get a bunch sprint fixed and get Bennati positioned up front. Thats all I ask from my team here. (Oh, and of course Daniele needs to remember how to use his 54-11 gear. that migth be a bit problematic, he's proven several times...) |

Again, Ballan. He's gonna attack 12km from the finish and win solo.
Mark my words! Mark them!

Did you play the race?
Reasonable by Vantomme. He hasn't been very good at positioning, so it's great to see him up there. |

Well... 4th, I can live with that. At least I get the gap with dave slightly larger again after the German drama. |

Great result. 3rd, 12th 20th and 21st.
I'm really looking forward to see how the PT battle is going on. I reckon it must be extremely close now. La Gazzetta has taken a bit back here, whilst Wikipedia did amazing in Germany. Domina Vacanze did pretty well in germany aswell, but I may just be breathing them in the neck for that last medalling place :-)
