I'm getting a message 'Failed to intialize 3D engine'. It's telling me I need to upgrade motherboard and video drivers. My computer has a 'Standard VGA Graphics Adaptor' ?
Could someone please tell me how to ugrade drivers ? Possible link ?

First, hit up "run (program)" in the the (windows) start menu. Then type DXdiag, press enter. Wait some time, then click around until you find out what graphics card you got then either

or

Then see if you can figure out whats next

Yeah not brilliant and after all that my graphics card doesn't have an updated driver for windows 7!!!!

Any recomendations on graphics cards ?
Spec : AGP 4x half height

Not brilliant at all... But since you lack W7 drivers, the second best thing to do is go for the equalivent Vista drivers.

Yeah, I can't find any Vista drivers either!!
If you could find one I'd be very grateful.
If not, reckon you could recommend a graphics card that's 'AGP 4x half height' ?
You seem to know what you're talking about, unlike myself!

Im trying to understand why you upgraded to W7 directly from XP...
And no, i dont really understand what "half height" means, nor am i experienced in the market of AGP cards since the rest of world runs with PCI
