A .HC classic made for sprinters, but with a small hill inside the last 15 kilometer, the number of good sprinters in this race and how unpredictable the sprints were this season it's quite hard to say who is the biggest favorite here

Napolitano has back up here in two 76+ sprinters and two huge engines on the flat in Cappelle and Quinziato, so I'd say he has no chance here. |

Ventoso has a 78 lead out man and a 78 engine, beat that.
but I would quite like that hill to do a little damage to the purer sprinters

Generally speaking, Swift likes to mess up the flat classics like these. Lets hope he can get this one right at least

My guys are all good on the flat, decent enough in the hills for a 'flat' rated race, but I've yet to see Vespa form a decent train this season. The stages we've won in sprints this year have all been Robbie McEwen-esque.
Napolitano 83/83 SP/ACC
Oscar Gatto 78/72 SP/ACC
Mattia Gavazzi 77/72
Manuel Quinziato 77 FL
Andy Cappelle 75 FL
Petrie-Armstrong 72FL
Andrea Pagoto 71FL |

usually the AI uses 2 men trains so I guess if you want a good train you need a good sprinter, and a good lead - out with a nice flat stat. But I guess you still have to wait to see Vespa doing a decent train.
Anyway third and fifth is a very good result for Jack Wolfskin since this is also a HC race
