one of my sponsor goals is top 3 at the worlds ITT, and being Saxo, I accepted thinking I'd have a good shot at it with Spartacus.
I've just discovered that what I didn't even think of at the time - that Saxo can't enter this event, which leads to my question:

If Cancellara places in the top 3 for Switzerland, will that goal be "achieved" or will it be a 'fail' because I won't be controlling him?

Yeah, I actually think it's kind of stupid that you get performance objectives that you may or may not have control over. Cancellara may not take part in the Worlds and you have no control over that.

The reverse question is what if Archibald gets a top 3 with a Danish rider (I presume that's the country he'll be controling at the Worlds); is that going to count as a top 3 if the rider is not from his trade team?

It doesn't count if they are not from your trade team, and yeah it's a bug, I think someone posted a while back about how to stop it.

actually, I'll be controlling Australia for the Worlds, so ITT won't be won by any of my riders...
