I have a laptop and am having some issues with the larger DBs and road racing. I was wondering which databases are small enough to have correct teams and equipment but still run smooth road races on a laptop.
Thanks |

I don't think anyone can meet your demands. The equipment is what takes all the power, so as long as you want "correct equipment", it will lag. In the standard DB, however, most teams use the same equipment which is why it doesn't lag. |

So can I, sam, but as you may be aware, not all laptops have the same specifications... |

The problem on my laptop is that it takes between 5 and 10 mins to load a race, then when I click a rider stops for a min or so then my rider comes up to control, it's frustrating but you learn to cope lol . |

That's nothing to do with too much equipment by the sounds of it. What settings are you playing on? And what are the specs of your laptop? |

^ seriously, go to start -> run -> type in dxdiag and then press enter and tell us what comes up
although playing FM10 is quite a big demanding game (as a fellow player) so you should be able to run PCM09 fine (unless your RAM is slow) |
