Pulling riders off a race

Even though i play the game now 4 years i did always missed something or couldn'T never uderstand how to do it:

Can i pull a rider from a race? And if so how do i do it? (pls no db tricks i know that)

Set the effort to 0 and the dot command,

great. i always looked in the menu for something to pull a rider but at least i know now how to do it then.

Just a small addition: It does not work in TT stages.
