Hey!
I need your help... 1st July bug showed up during tests of my East Europe expansion. And it's not random one - it happened during all tests.
Could you help and tell me what might be possible causes of 1st July bug. Here are tables changed I've in comparison to 'normal' PCM.Daily's DB: DYN_cyclist, DYN_team, STA_race, STA_stage, STA_calendar, STA_country, DYN_national_team, STA_TGA.
PS: Last lines of log, if they would help...

Are there any races on 1st of July?
Which? Are their xml-s good?
I think somewhere here is the problem! |

normally there aren't any races on the first of july unless you've added races on that day
what did ypu precisely changed?
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

There was race on the first of july in PCM.daily DB already, so that's surely not an issue. And game crashes when passing from day to day, not when simulating stage.
Changing date in save from 30th June to 1st July in Advanced Editor works, but there must be surely another way to avoid this bug. |

Interesting.
There is a problem with the changing of the days... But this level is too high for me. Maybe the members of the PCM Daily 2009 Database Team can help you!
I hope you can solve this problem soon!
Edit: I'm so strupid... I have just read that you change the DYN_National_Team table. It contacts with this date so, that on 1st July you can pre-select the members of the Nat. Team to the WC. I think there's too many national teams or something is wrong in the table!
OR: the editing of the STA_Calendar can cause this problem, too. What did you edit in it?

Not a matter of DYN_national_team -> I didn't add more teams there, I just replaced two existing. And if sth would be wrong there, crash would come earlier - on first U23 race in march (like it happened when I tried to add 27th team).
As for STA_calendar, I've added about 30 records, so new teams will start where they should. Not really possible to screw sth there. |

Then let's see the 'bug report' (I'm just an amateur DB maker, so i'm just tipping - the Database Team would be better ).
f:\cm9\dev\cm\sources\gamecycling\gamemanager\inc\GameProcess.h(0022): process 'Program Leader' has ended
I don't know what does it mean... :S
f:\CM9\Dev\CM\Sources\GameCycling\GameManager\GameManager_Abstract.cpp(0691): month turn ok!
- There aren't any problem to go to July
f:\CM9\Dev\CM\Sources\GameCycling\GameManager\GameManager_Abstract.cpp(0691): start day turn...
There aren't problems with day turn
f:\cm9\dev\cm\sources\gamecycling\gamemanager\inc\GameProcess.h(0018): starting process 'Season Inscription'...
Why does the game want to start a New Season???
f:\cm9\dev\cm\sources\gamecycling\gamemanager\inc\GameProcess.h(0022): process 'Season Inscription' has ended
It's running anyway...
\CM9\Dev\CM\Sources\GameCycling\GameManager\Process_UpdateCyclistRace.cpp(0318): <SFLB_GM2_CGameProcess_UpdateCyclistRace_m_fn_vUpdateCyclistRace>
\CM9\Dev\CM\Sources\GameCycling\GameManager\Process_UpdateCyclistRace.cpp(0320): </SFLB_GM2_CGameProcess_UpdateCyclistRace_m_fn_vUpdateCyclistRace>
Maybe the game wants to update the Cyclists on Races - but we don't know if it is succesful.
There's another thing what can cause a bug: the signing of the riders. From 1st of July you can offer or renew the contracts of the riders. In PCMDaily09DB there aren't any problems, so the problem can be with the new riders and their contacts. I think you did it well (its hard to make a mistake here), Ozzy, but take a look at them! |

Again - no new riders, just a couple of them got into new teams and lots of others went to free agents, in comparison to PCMDaily09DB.
In previous PCM's it would be, possibly, matter of DYN_contract_cyclist, but in PCM09 contracts are automatically handled by game, so no way to screw anything in cyclicts' matter. |

I did not read all the posts, as it is to much "tech" stuff. So feel free to ignore my post also, if this has been said before.
The first of July is the moment when the teams can start signing riders. So if you messed around with contracts, riders, teams or anything similar, then check your changes. They most probably cause the crash.
The easiest way to check what is causing the crash is by starting all over and doing the changes structured:
1. Alter the existing data, then try the DB
2. Add master data and try again (Master data is mostly in tables starting with STA)
3. Add other data structured, so first add the easy stuff like teams and riders, try again, then add other stuff. |

Uhm, there are several types of crashes. I doubt that yours is identical to this unless you have made changes to a DB.
As far as I remember, this problem stemmed from two riders in the DB who were placed on a non-existent team. |
