The first mountain stage. Even though the final isn't really long it's very very steep and Ljungblad will probably lose his yellow jersey at the end of it.
Zaini, Williams, Garbelli, Duran, Østergaard, Stillfors and Vansummeren were the escapes of the day
Williams was the strongest sprinter in the group and he had no trouble winning the first intermediate sprint of the day. He was followed by Garbelli and Østergaard
Zaini won the only 'intermediate' climb of the day in front of Vansummeren and Stillfors
The pack lead by NVidia and Energie Diesel is 8 minutes behind them at the summit
Østergaard won the second intermediate sprint of the day in front of Williams and Vansummeren
Soon after that the last intermediate sprint arrived and it was won by Williams
Energie - Diesel and NVidia are doing everything they can to bring the escapes back in the pack but with 30 kilometers left from the stage, at the last intermediate sprint, the pack is still 4 minutes and a half behing the breakaway group
Before the final climb started, Duran and Stillfords attacked from the front group and got away from the other escapes
Behind them something seems to have happened in the pack as almost the entire Vespa team stopped.
The reason why they've stopped was that one of their leaders was in trouble as Basso was involved in a crash. Just 11 kilometers to go, it's going to be really hard for Ivan to get back in the pack
Duran and Stillfords started the climb with 30 seconds advantage over the other escapes and with an impressive 4 minutes over the pack
Energie Diesel and NVidia are still the only teams chasing but can they do the imposible and bring the escapes back in less than 7 kilometers
Stillfords and Duran are still leading the race 5 kilometers before the top, but the other escapes seem to climb faster than them
And the first escape to crack today is Østergaard. As he is the worst climber from the chasing group he is left behind
A few meters in front of him Stillfords is also in trouble, being caught by the chasing group, he let Duran in front all by himself
Behind them the attacks in the pack started. The first one was made by Kiserlovski
Ardila Cano is coming after him but can they catch the escapes in only 3 kilometers?
In front Garbelli and Vansummeren got away from the others and they are very close to catch Duran
Williams, Stillfords and Zaini are still hanging on pretty close but it seems over for them
Behind Ortega also attacked to join the Kiserlovski - Ardila group
Caruso, Perez Cuapio, Zandio, Craven, Parra Bustamante and Medina are also coming

Caruso and Perez Cuapio are leading the chase behind the leaders
Vansummeren seems stronger than Garbelli and he leaves the Vespa rider behind
Behind Duran was caught by the favorites group and he is a dead man now
Caruso and Perez Cuapio are coming really fast but Vansummeren still hangs on, leading the race with 500 meters before the finish
Vansummeren gets an amazing win, clearly being the strongest climber in the breakaway group. He will most likely take the yellow jersey as well as Ljungblad was nowhere today
Garbelli cracked in the final meters of the climb and he was caught and passed by the favorites. Caruso and Perez Cuapio take the podium spots behind Vansummeren, losing 18 seconds to the Belgian rider
Ardila Cano is fourth, leading the first group of the pack, 44 seconds behind Vansummeren and 26 behind Cuapio and Caruso
Amazing job by Basso finshing 20th in a group with Williams and Stillfords, 2 riders that started climbing to the last summit of the day with more than 5 minutes before he did
